The Creative Approach

For this shoot, I worked with natural light to follow Chris through a typical working day. Rather than staging overly formal scenarios, the goal was to create a narrative arc,  from the initial knock at the door, to the repair, to the paperwork and goodbye.

I paid attention to details: the tools laid out neatly, the concentration on Sam’s face as he learned, and the warmth of Chris’s ever-present smile. The shoot wasn’t just about showing technical skill, but about communicating trust, professionalism, and the approachable nature that clients love.

The personal touch came through in the portraits outside St Mary the Virgin Church in Marholm,  a beautiful setting with deep meaning for Chris, adding heart to his brand story.

A Personal Note from Nate

Because personal branding photography should be about more than headshots, it should tell your story.

Every trade has a story

Fix First Heating isn’t just about boilers, it’s about people. Chris’s smile, his professionalism, and his role as a mentor deserved to be shown.

Photography is trust made visible

The images show not only the technical skill behind the work, but the care and approachability that customers value most.

Where it’s going

This shoot is just the start of telling Fix First Heating’s story. As the business continues to grow, these images will help them build trust and visibility across the Peterborough area.
