Nate Lansdell Photography Wins Theo Paphitis #SBS Small Business Sunday

Peterborough based commercial photographer Nate Lansdell has been selected as a Theo Paphitis #SBS Small Business Sunday winner, joining a community of over 4,500 small businesses across the UK.

Every Sunday evening, thousands of small businesses across the UK pitch their company directly to Theo Paphitis on social media. Six are selected each week.

On Sunday 13 July 2026, Nate Lansdell Photography was one of them. #SBS Small Business Sunday is one of the UK’s largest and most established small business networks, with over 4,500 members. Founded by Theo Paphitis in 2010, the competition now runs across X, Instagram and LinkedIn. Being selected means your business is shared with Theo’s combined audience of over 800,000 followers, and you join a community of like minded small business owners from every sector and region.

Theo Paphitis said: “We are thrilled to welcome new SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK. My vision is that everyone who has ever won an SBS retweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like minded individuals who can share successes and learnings. The website will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish Nate Lansdell Photography every success.”

What Nate Lansdell Photography does

I specialise in commercial visual storytelling for businesses across Peterborough, Cambridge, the East Midlands and beyond. That covers brand photography, headshots and team portraits, event photography, property and interior shoots, personal branding, and food and product photography. The common thread is that every shoot is built around a commercial purpose, not just a subject.

Whether it is a healthcare provider needing images for their investment materials and new site launches, a professional services firm refreshing their team headshots, or a hospitality venue wanting interiors that drive bookings, my work is designed to support a specific business objective.

Why this recognition matters

Being selected by Theo Paphitis from thousands of weekly entries is a moment I am proud of. It is not an endorsement of my photography, and the #SBS team are rightly clear about that distinction. What it is, though, is recognition that this business is doing something worth paying attention to.
This win also comes at a significant time. Following the rebrand to Nate Lansdell Photography in March 2026, and with two nominations for the National Dyslexia Awards now confirmed, including Dyslexic Entrepreneur of the Year and Amazing Artist of the Year, it feels like the direction I have been building towards is starting to gain real traction.

As a neurodivergent business owner, that matters. Not because it changes the quality of the work, but because it proves that building a business on your own terms, in your own way, can lead somewhere worth going.

What happens next

Nate Lansdell Photography is now profiled on the official #SBS Small Business Sunday website alongside past winners, and I am looking forward to getting involved with the #SBS community, attending future events and connecting with other small business owners.

If your business needs photography that does more than fill a website gallery, I would love to hear from you.
